Street Fair Charity Raffle Tickets

Description

Help Support our two 2025 Charity Partners, the Syosset Little league and the Sabrina Navatetta Memorial Foundation (both are 501c3 non-profits).  Tickets are: 1 for $10 - 4 for $20 - 9 for $40 There will be 2 Lucky Tickets drawn at the Street Fair. The 1st Ticket will be for a 50/50 Raffle with a minimum prize of $500. The 2nd Ticket Drawn will be for an Apple iPad. When you take advantage of the EarlyBird Raffle Ticket Purchase, your ticket numbers will be emailed to you, and the actual tickets will be placed in the bin with those sold at the street Fair.

Official Rules for the Syosset Street Fair 50/50 Raffle

Sponsor: This raffle is sponsored by the Syosset/Woodbury Chamber of Commerce, a 501C6 not for profit organization located at 338 Jericho Turnpike, Suite 136, Syosset, NY. 11791.

Eligibility:

  • Participants must be 18 years of age or older to purchase a ticket or win.
  • This raffle is void where prohibited by law.

How to Enter:

  • Tickets can be purchased for [$10 for one ticket, $20 for four tickets, or $40 for nine tickets
  • The more tickets purchased, the greater the chance of winning.
  • The final ticket sale will occur at the Syosset Street Fair booth on Sunday September 14th at approximately 4:00 pm.

Prize Details:

  • The prize is 50% of the total cash proceeds collected from the sale of all 50/50 raffle tickets.
  • The final prize amount will be announced before the drawing takes place.
  • The prize is non-transferable and must be accepted as awarded.

Drawing and Winner:

  • The winning ticket will be drawn at 4:00 pm on September 14th at the Syosset/Woodbury Chamber of Commerce booth.
  • Presence is not required to win.
  • If the winner is not present, they will be notified by phone.
  • The winner must claim the prize by 9/30/2025 at 12:00 AM
  •  or a new drawing will be held.

Taxes:

  • The winner is solely responsible for any and all applicable federal, state, and local taxes.
  • The winner must provide a valid government-issued photo ID and Social Security number for tax reporting purposes.
  • The Sponsor is not responsible for advising the winner on tax matters.

Waiver of Liability:

  • By participating, entrants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless the Sponsor and its agents from any claims, losses, injuries, or damages related to participation in the raffle or acceptance of the prize.
  • The Sponsor is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged tickets.

Right to Modify or Cancel:

  • The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the raffle at its discretion if unforeseen circumstances arise, to ensure the integrity of the event.

Disclaimer:

  • All decisions by the Sponsor regarding the raffle are final.
  • By purchasing a ticket, participants agree to all terms and conditions of these official rules.
